Author Reputation Press keeps releasing books almost on a daily basis, and today we’re glad to launch Lisa White’s Any Way Out.
The book follows the story of teenager Ashley Ames who is raised up in a rural area prior to the technology boom.
Her parents have divorced out of a bitter relationship. But it is Ashley who suffers so much from their bickering, finding herself forsaken by her own parents in the process.
Luckily, Ashley finds comfort and uplifting from her stepmother Ruth. She keeps changing abode between her parents’ homes, either because things have gotten bad or she gets thrown out.
These circumstances seem to have affected her behavior at home and at school, leading to a life marked with depression. At one point, she attempted to end her own life.
