Geoff Quaife talks about his Luke Tremayne adventure series with Ric Bratton for This Week In America
The Luke Tremayne adventure series is a popular body of work by Geoff Quaife that mostly revolves around crime and politics set in old England. For the most part, the hero is faced with solving murders, uncovering conspiracies, and stopping invasions, among other cases.
Geoff talks to Ric Bratton for This Week in America, a radio program carried by over 100 stations across the United States. In the interview, the author talks about the book’s eponymous hero and the idea for coming up with the historical novel.
Having been a University teacher and historian, Geoff did not want to leave history as a huge part of his life. However, he didn’t want to return to the study of academic history, either. So he decided to dabble in historical novel, thus the birth of the Luke Tremayne books.
The series includes 12 books that revolve around crime and politics in old England, with the protagonist mostly facing the challenges of solving murders, uncovering conspiracies, and stopping invasions, among other cases.
