Author Spotlight: Robert Nichelson, author of “The Swede”
Robert Nichelson, author of The Swede, is a U.S. Army Infantry veteran, freelance writer, collector and has an unquenchable passion for military history.
He has written several proprietary manuals including subjects in research and development and instruction manuals for the aerospace industry. His book is based on a real romantic story between two young people from Sweden and follows Hans’ battle to survive through desperate times during World War II.
Separated by war, Hans’ only fight that truly matters is fighting to stay alive so he can return home to the woman he loves, and his child he has never seen yet. The Swede of Love and War is based on real events during the war between Hitler and the Russians as seen through the viewpoint of Hans.
Nichelson has degrees in Parks Management and in Natural Resources from Green River College and holds a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. R.W. Nichelson is an avid outdoorsman and adventurer currently residing in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains on Shady Lake in Washington State.
