“The Lighter Side of Darkness” by Troy Johnson recommended by the US Review of Books
The US Review of Books has given Troy Johnson’s The Lighter Side of Darkness a positive review for “fusing humor, scripture, and unique artwork”.
Published by Author Reputation Press, the book is a supernatural thriller based on actions taken by God to eliminate evil for good. GOD ironically commissions sinners to remove Satan from Hell by answering the final prayer of Dimitrius, an ex- marine now condemned death row prisoner. He is sent to Hell to save the souls of his family by recruiting the souls of the damned who wish to be redeemed, causing commotion in Hell.
In the review, book critic Nicole Yurcaba writes: “This book takes readers on a journey of repentance, forgiveness, and faith, and emphasizes that even after one has committed horrendous atrocities, hope may still exist for them. By fusing humor, scripture, and unique artwork, this book draws in readers who are questioning their faith, just finding it, or struggling to find their purpose.” Read the full review here.
