Dewey Reynolds shares his thoughts on his YA novel with Ric Bratton

Ric Bratton interviews author Dewey Reynolds to talk about his YA novel titled Stuart Duffelmeyer and The Masters of Plagues.

The book’s protagonist, Stuart Duffelmeyer, is bestowed with mystical powers and dynamic forces. Nonetheless, he is 100% human and an NYU student whose classmates play a horrible prank on him, leading to a catastrophic disaster in his life.

However, their biggest mistake is to mess with him. After suffering from the malicious prank of his classmates, Stuart makes a resolve to get even with his tormentors. By some form of miracle, he discovers a magical Hebrew talisman with immense powers and he is thrust into a faraway galaxy once the talisman is consecrated.

The spirit of Rabbi Irwin Wedemeyer, his advisor, explains to him that the talisman will grant him miraculous powers over all the creatures and elements of the Earth. The rabbi cautions Stuart against abusing the powers of the talisman, and Stuart returns to Earth to take his revenge using his new abilities. However, Stuart discovers the true consequences of revenge.
