“Lost In Democracy” by Frisky Larr reveals how Africa struggles with democracy
We’re pleased to announce today the release of another non-fiction book, Lost In Democracy by Frisky Larr. The book is an enlightening read on how Africa has struggled with transitioning to the democratic form of government.
The book presents historical facts and political events to illustrate how Black Africa has been consumed in the western trap called “Democracy”. It paints a picture of Africa as a continent denied of the opportunity to decide for itself and choose what system of government would address its needs.
Lost in Democracy also sheds light on the role of the political establishment in every democratic society and how it work to truncate the rules that are hardly noticeable to the ordinary people. It also highlights how invisible forces behind democracy wield their power to pull the strings unseen by any estate of the system.
It presents a case study of Nigeria, where the establishment is an open affair. The book ends with suggestions of possible alternatives to the current unworkable systems.
The book is available to purchase via our online bookstore.
