“The Life of a European-American Ingrained in New York” by Siegfried Wyner is now available to purchase
Siegfried Wyner’s The Life of a European-American Ingrained in New York, a real story about how the author deals with moving to a new place, is now available to purchase via our online bookstore.
The book is a detailed account of his experience transitioning to a new country and his struggles that came with the move.
Siegfried had to summon a great deal of courage to adapt to a new environment and culture. For him, moving to a new place is a way to learn new language and adjust to a different culture. In other words, it is a way of getting out of one’s comfort zone.
The memoir follows Siegfried’s journey from Romania to New York City. He lived most of his early life in Romania before migrating to New York on January 21, 1976 with his family.
Having grown up in Romania, he had a hard time assimilating to American culture at first. Notwithstanding, he managed to get into the Polytechnic Institute of New York to study Civil Engineering.
