Bob Harshbarger brings his memoir “It’s Been A Pretty Good Ride” to the listeners of This Week in America with Ric Bratton

Bob Harshbarger, author of It’s Been A Pretty Good Ride, has guested on This Week in America, where he talked about his memoir with seasoned radio broadcaster Ric Bratton.

Harshbarger reiterates that the book was inspired by his daughters. He noted that the memoir is sprinkled with some humor wherever possible in hopes of gaining some sort of relaxation for himself and the readers.

The author’s daughters encouraged him to write a book about his life’s story that tells the origin of the Harshbargers. One of those stories reveal some humorous accounts about their father growing up in a wheelchair.

Harshbarger also shared his brief background as a radio host. The book not only includes genealogical accounts of the author’s life, but also hilarious events and tales about other people he met in the past who played different roles in his life. Listen to the interview below:
