Dylan Frendo began writing as a hobby when he was in elementary school, but it took him some time to develop a stronger enthusiasm for it. He had always wanted to write realistic fiction, but before he could, he became attached to penning the fantasy sci-fi novel that eventually developed into a novel series. For his novels, “The Leray Series,” Dylan enjoys creating the worlds and the magic, which he views as creating a video game.

“The Leray Series” is a sci-fantasy fiction novel that has 20 books and takes place in Leray World, a world full of magic. A magical world where they can safely use magic, even in battles. Humans can cast spells and do battles where they won’t die. This magic world is in a nation called Sprawn Valley.

Danny Mason, the protagonist, finds himself in the small country of Sprawn Valley. He never thought about magic nor had any idea of it. However, when he heard about Leray Magic, he began to learn it from scratch. Later, he was trained by a local expert with the help of his friend Taylor. As they gain knowledge, function, and secret arts of magic, they find themselves cooperating in a world they’re not familiar with.

The author had fun writing this novel, specifically the action-packed scenes that include Leray’s battles. He shared some details of the story that gave a hint of the flow of the story. He also mentioned the danger lurking around the protagonists, as there’s a syndicate that showed up in the story and some secrets that were revealed about the truth of the Leray Magic.

The danger of using magic starts to come out. And as they noticed it, the battle became more intense and their belief in Leray’s magic was shaken. If magic was safe to use, why does it seem that it is not true?
