Steve Dziadik talks about his book “How’s My Driving?: Why Every Other Driver Doesn’t Seem to Have a Clue”

Steve Dziadik has a driving life that includes two life-threatening accidents early on that he and his family were fortunate enough to survive.

For the last 13 years, he has owned and operated a driving school in Florida, teaching defensive driving techniques to thousands of young people as well as older drivers. His life experiences and unique perspective on driving safety have created a combination in him that makes what he says both instructional and interesting.

The primary goal of “How’s My Driving?: Why Every Other Driver Doesn’t Seem to Have a Clue” by Steve Dziadik is to encourage an increase in the level of defensive driving awareness for the reader. The author utilizes some of his family’s unfortunate driving experiences, wherever possible, for added emphasis. The benefit to the reader is an opportunity to feel the pain his family felt and learn from it.

This book was featured in the July issue of The New York Times Book Review. It is a weekly paper magazine supplement to the Sunday edition of The New York Times (an American daily newspaper with a worldwide readership reported in 2020 to be a growing 6 million paid digital subscribers). It is one of the most well-known and significant book reviews in the business.

The author, together with his wife, were interviewed by Logan Crawford of Spotlight TV. Logan Crawford is an Emmy Award-winning broadcaster and anchor host. He is also a host and anchor on Ebru, WWOR-TV, FOX, and VOOM: HD NEWS. He appeared in a number of films and television shows, including The Irishman (2019), The First Purge (2018), Teenage Mutant Ninja, 40-Love (2021), and many others.

They were also interviewed by Benji Cole of CBS Radio. People of Distinction is one of the most extensive and wide-ranging radio shows in the United States. Hosted by Benji Cole and Al Cole from CBS Radio, People of Distinction is the right fit for authors who want to increase their exposure to readers. The radio program airs on Apple’s iTunes Radio Network (Professional News/Talk), featuring CBS Radio, Fox News, NPR, and C-Span.

This book was displayed during the much-awaited annual Festival of Books on April 22–23, 2023. Hundreds of exhibitors and nearly 500 authors attended the festival. The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books was started with the goal of bringing together authors and readers. The event features books of many genres, making it suitable for participants of all ages.
