Tambi Harwood, the author of “I am not the Moon Lake Camp Killer”, is interviewed by Benji Cole of CBS Radio
Benji Cole of CBS Radio gets to interview the author of a fantastic book, “I am not the Moon Lake Camp Killer”, Tambi Harwood. The author introduces herself and shares what inspired her to write and publish this book.
Tambi Harwood began writing when she was a young child. She became aware that she had lived a full life when she turned forty (40). Then she considers how she would lead another full life. This prompts decision-making. Reading is her favorite pastime, especially science fiction and fantasy.
She is a science fiction author for young adults. She earned an MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University, where she also finished her first psionic time-travel book, “I Am Not the Moon Lake Camp Killer”. Her spouse and two teenage sons live in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attends ComicCons on a regular basis and enjoys cosplaying as long as she can paint her entire body a different color.
The author explains the wonderful story of how and what lit the fire. She used to play dungeons and dragons with her kids. This ignites her heart to write and make this book a stimulating instrument to foster a creative imagination in the reader’s mind.
“I Am Not the Moon Lake Camp Killer” is a story about Liam, a 17-year-old teenager who has inexplicably obtained powers after discovering a meteor at Moon Lake Camp with his friends. Liam is suddenly falsely accused of murdering twelve of his fellow campers. Now he must not only clear his reputation and assist in the protection of his companions, but also assist in the search for the true murderer, an extraterrestrial who can not only shapeshift but also steal other people’s “quantic” abilities. On top of everything, his future self reappears to murder him. How will Liam handle everything that is going wrong in his life?
This book has produced its own Hollywood Movie Script Coverage in preparation for the book’s qualification for a Hollywood movie adaptation. It goes without saying that the Hollywood Book Reviews praise this book and point out that:
“This is a fun story to read as it addresses the theory of time paradox; what would happen if someone goes back in time to kill either themselves, or someone else? How drastic will the changes be and will it make the world better or worse? It’s fun and interesting to see how that idea is approached in this novel in a way that is not full of difficult jargon. Liam having powers, the real killer plus the time travel aspect, may seem like there is too much happening all at once, but Tambi Harwood makes it work in an engaging and thrilling tale.”
“I Am Not the Moon Lake Camp Killer is an action-packed novel which will keep readers on the edge of their seats, eager to see how will happen to Liam next. Young thriller lovers, as well as those who enjoy a smidge of science fiction would surely enjoy this novel.”
