Author Spotlight: Lisa White, author of “Any Way Out”

Lisa White

Lisa White, author of Any Way Out, was an x-ray technician during her younger years.

Her suspense thriller book, published by Author Reputation Press, chronicles the life of teenager Ashley Ames who is raised up in a rural area in the pre-technology boom.

Her parents have divorced out of spite for each other. Ashley is affected by their bickering first and foremost.

Due to the seemingly endless fight between her parents, Ashley finds herself abandoned.

Nevertheless, Ashley finds comfort from her stepmother Ruth. She keeps switching abode between her parents’ homes, either because things have gotten bad or she gets thrown out.

These circumstances have affected her behavior anywhere — at home and at school — leading to a life of misery and depression. At one point, she even attempted to commit suicide.

Lisa grew up in upstate New York, near the beautiful shores of lake Ontario. After graduating from college, she became an x-ray technician during her younger years.

Later, Lisa met her husband and she moved to Connecticut to live with him. She has been a widow for about four years now.
