Author Reputation Press is releasing soon a new book about the famed folk tale of dinosaurs.
The Legend Of The Sleeping Dinosaur by Christopher Barnes is a retelling of the famed legend of the Sleeping Dinosaur in the form of a historical novel.
Several millions of years ago glacial movements and meteorites led to the formation of the islands of Southeast Asia, where dinosaurs lived and roamed about for survival.
Then came the earthquakes, storms, volcanoes, and avalanches, but the dinosaurs evolved along with these natural calamities. They lived along with other creatures in the region in peace and harmony.
However, things started to change when humans arrived and began to take over the spaces where the dinosaurs lived, eating their food and usurping their land. The dinosaurs then took revenge and devoured several men having picnic on a beach, and the people took a bold move to exterminate the dinosaurs from the world.
They eradicated all dinosaurs except for a large female that was roaming in search of her child and then eventually died in the forest while looking for the lost offspring. Her body was covered with trees and leaves which formed into a ridge and then it became its own peninsula, dubbed the “Sleeping Dinosaur” peninsula in the Philippines, where it still lies today.
