Kate Delaney interviews Howard O.A. Jones on America Tonight

Veteran radio broadcaster Kate Delaney has interviewed Howard O.A. Jones, author of Edafos: Divine Wind, a novel that deals with themes such as courage, displacement, loss, and conscience.

Jones shared how he came up with the book, telling Delaney that the idea behind Edafos was born when he was in senior high school. He then wanted to dabble in game designing. To keep some of his ideas, he wrote them down and when he finished his notes, his father-in-flaw contacted a publisher for what would be his manuscript.

The author also revealed that one major inspiration that helped him develop Edafos was the video game called The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which expressed the Nordic culture of his characters.

Edafos opens into a brand-new world of fantasy and action where a young man seeks to protect his mother from cruelty and corrupt officials in his local town. Then he finds himself thrust into a perilous journey after helping a young woman with powerful magic stop a threat. From there, Jor, Jane and several others form a unique bond and go on a quest as magic and chaos from all sides threaten to stop them from changing the fate set out before them.

The book is populated with a vast array of characters and their progressions throughout this long tale make the story flow smoothly, getting the readers engaged on a more personal level.
