Comparing Literary Fiction and Genre Fiction
Works of fiction are those that recount made up stories. Instead of the numerous genres of nonfiction—memoir, self-portrayal, editorial, information investigation, theory, history, and others—fiction is characterized by its attention on stories created by the author. Most scholastics and literary pundits further partition fiction into two classifications: genre fiction and literary fiction.
Most pundits characterize genre fiction as something contrary to literary fiction. In some scholastic and editorial circles, genre fiction is viewed as second rate compared to literary fiction, yet truth be told, genre fiction is more well known with huge masses of readers. For sure most fiction books on the blockbuster rundown would be named genre fiction instead of literary fiction.
The best books are not really literary novels, but rather such books will in general suffer for quite a long time if not hundreds of years.
