H. Allenger reveals what type of books he likes to read

While author H. Allenger writes mostly fiction, his favorite books comprise non-fiction titles.

The author of Polyxena has revealed that he reads mostly non-fiction books as his way of learning about current events and historical facts.

For Allenger, certain historical events fascinate him. For example, the chaotic events following WW II is of particular interest to him.

Some of the nonfiction titles he likes include The Long Road Home by Ben Shephard and After the Reich by Giles MacDonogh.

Allenger also considers himself an American Civil War buff. He is a passionate reader of Central and South American civilizations and have an extensive library of books on that subject.

Fiction-wise, Homer’s Iliad largely influenced his literary career.
