Kimerly Roberson, author of The Last Letter, has described her writing process.
She said she would do some research after finding an idea. From there, she would just sit and write about the ideas that come to her.
Later, she would do some fixes and revisions.
Her book explores the deep affection between Mike and Lily, two lovers who met one another in high school.
It was love at first sight. When they’re together, love burns eternal.
However, their love is tested through distance and years of separation from each other.
As they find new relationships and new lives, their feelings for each other now have to face a whole new challenge, made even harder by a tragedy that puts their lives to the test.
