“The Truth Of The Unknown Interpreter” by Paul Aramouni comes to life with this book trailer
Paul Aramouni’s suspense thriller book, The Truth Of The Unknown Interpreter, gets a movie-like trailer that brings its story to life.
The book tells the story of a hearing-impaired teenager whose connection to a recent murder makes him a target for a nefarious and lethal cult in this debut thriller. In his home country of Russia, Henry Velovsky dealt with an unnerving interpreter.
But now that his family has moved to Fair Oaks, Oregon, he begins high school with Becky Malone. She’s a kind, professional interpreter whom Henry deeply appreciates. A year later, however, Becky takes another job, and Henry’s new interpreter is the decidedly less likable Jenese Motaire.
Tragedy hits shortly thereafter, as Becky vanishes then turns up later as a victim of a particularly brutal homicide. After Henry spots a couple of mysterious figures, he and his friends discover a possible cult practicing in the area. Not only does Henry suspect the cult had something to do with Becky’s death, but he also verifies that Jenese is a member.
When the cult believes Henry knows too much, the members set their sights on him and his associates, including retired detective William Henshaw Paine, who is investigating Becky’s murder. Once additional savage murders occur, it’s apparent this cult doesn’t simply sacrifice people, but also kills for revenge and self-preservation.
