“The Mobility Project, Adventures in Humanitarian Work” by Danny Quintana and Lisa Murphy chronicles the authors’ great contributions to humanity including the people of Afghanistan

Author Danny Quintana and Lisa Murphy have published their latest work, The Mobility Project, Adventures in Humanitarian Work.

The book tells about the journey of Lisa Murphy, Jeff Murphy and Quintana, who founded a group of volunteers with the goal of providing the gift of hope and mobility to poor communities across the world.

Among the people who received aid through the Mobility Project include thousands of Afghans. Danny and his colleagues donated wheelchairs to the poorest people in the country, now torn in political chaos.

The organization collected wheelchairs, walkers, crutches from the United States, which are otherwise too expensive for most people to afford buying.

Like Simon of Cyrene, the volunteers helped people carry their cross of disability. From the hot tropical jungles of Costa Rica, Thailand, Sao Tome, to the deserts of Afghanistan, the disabled poor got a new chance at life. This means their families no longer have to carry their disabled members.

More importantly, the project made it possible to let people who were once trapped in their homes due to lack of mobility come out of their confinement and take part of the society they live in.

You can take part of that inspiring journey as well by reading these incredible adventures in humanitarian work by the author and his team.

The book is available to purchase here. In addition, keep an eye out for other appearances of the author in the coming weeks.
