Craig Rory Draheim’s “Boys of Babylon” presents adventures that foster imagination and realization, can now be purchased
Boys of Babylon by Craig Rory Draheim is now available for purchase. It is a wonderful story of fiction but with a touch of non-fiction that stimulates readers to have real-life realizations.
The book, Boys of Babylon, tells the story of a little tourist trap in the Midwest. It is possible that is a trap. People are drawn to fudge, but is it worth risking their lives for? Dark mysteries are hidden behind nice diners, candy shops, and lovely vacation houses with Midwestern flair. Tourists flocked to the town in the summer of 2004, as they do every year. This year, however, six adolescent lads prey on a group of unsuspecting holidaymakers, drowning them in a popular recreational river. When tragedy hits one of their own, this rite of passage turns on the town. The parents of the children are forced to confront their previously “lovely angels’” nasty activities.
But, in a place where no one wants to confront their issues, how does one deal with a child without coming to terms with such a twisted reality?
Craig Rory Draheim, the author, comes from a diverse background, providing him with a distinct viewpoint on literature. His experiences as a soldier, a sailor, a painter, a carpenter, a plumber, a surveyor, a printing press operator, a home health care worker, and a chocolate factory maintenance person are visible throughout his narratives. He and his wife, Margaret, currently reside in Northern Michigan. Charles and Craig are their two sons.
Draheim’s other works include Coffee with Ghosts; Nuts, Bolts, and Monster Worship; and A History Book, Sir Elton John, and the Grasshopper Man.
