The book trailer for Nadia Judith Bijaoui’s “The Other Side of The Curtain: Recovering from Deep Coma,” in which an extremely terrible tragedy transforms into a benefit for one’s spirituality, is now available
Everyone, sooner or later, will experience the pain and challenges that come with unexpected, devastating events that alter one’s life permanently. When tragedy hits, how do we react? How do we keep going when everything around us is crumbling? Amid a crisis, how can we show up for ourselves and others? What should we do when we are wounded, grieving, and trying to figure out what gives life meaning?
Nothing can prepare us for the shock of catastrophe. Only our ability to respond matches our inability to plan and control. It’s important to keep things in perspective. When it comes to pursuing perspective, it’s not about shuffling through the deck until we discover something we like. It’s all about pursuing the truth no matter what it takes. An appropriate perspective is required for a healthy way of life. And having a more accurate perspective is a decision.
The Other Side of The Curtain: Recovering from Deep Coma is an incredible true story of surviving a coma following a motorcycle accident. Instead of a devastating statistic, this book emphasizes the need for early prevention, optimism, resilience, and triumph. It also serves as a primer on the power of dreams.
Until the May 1968 riots, the author enjoyed living in the south of France and studying French literature and poetry. She suffered after a major motorcycle accident in 1969, after a year of suffering because of the political events of May 1968. Despite this, she fell into a three-month coma. She relocated to the United States a few years later, attempting to forget about it. However, there are some things in life that one cannot forget, particularly the guilt of being alive while meeting or hearing about the families of teenagers who have died in car accidents.
She eventually realized what she wanted to get rid of from her life. “Why did I survive the way I did?” became her private search, driven by the desire to understand her recovery. She discovered the Seven Elements. Some of these characteristics began in her early upbringing in Tunisia, orienting the book’s first two sections as both a case study and a memoir.
The Other Side of The Curtain: Recovering from Deep may serve as a reminder of the hope that keeps us going through life’s ups and downs. And, even if we aren’t having any difficulties right now, it will provide the groundwork for future challenges. Learn how to use hope to get you through terrible times and how to turn any sorrowful journey into a “roar story.”
