He is a Civil Engineer by trade, licensed in TX, and Project Management Professional by specialization. He has more than thirty years of experience providing engineering services during the construction and inspection of infrastructure projects. Since 2010, he has been dedicated to aggregate civil engineering, construction management, quality control, and quality assurance methods used by experts during Texas construction and inspection of highways. He is well known for his expertise in concrete placement for bridge structures, contract administration, mitigation of adverse risk, and reducing impacts on the traveling public due to construction.
Moreover, he is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Road to Zero Coalition. He holds international certifications granted by the Project Management Institute. He earned certificates issued by the American Concrete Institute, the Asphalt Hot Mix Association, the Construction Estimating Institute, and Bureau Veritas. He works as Director of Construction Engineering and inspection services at Arcadis North America; a company ranked within the Top 500 Design Firms in the USA. Alberto reaches goals by practicing emotional intelligence, providing tools, and monitoring metrics that help the team resolve issues when modifying the environment on behalf of communities. But most importantly, by remembering that successful relationships are sustained by mutual benefit, willingness to share knowledge, and developing trust.
The fundamental focus of this book is to correctly capture the construction site’s everyday operations and crucial events. It does, however, address issues that raise the question of whether contractors and inspectors are enemies. The methodology shown is used by experts to supervise highway construction, but it can also be used for other sorts of infrastructure development. These pages will aid consultants greatly since their personnel will learn how to continually anticipate developing hazards and, as a result, will be more effective in delivering high-quality projects.
Moreover, the book is useful for new inspectors or young engineers who want to learn how to report on road-building projects. This book helps people accelerate their learning and gain the recognition they need to enhance their professions.
