Get to know the author of the books, “2023,” “2025”, and “Divided We Fall,” Carl Berryman

Carl Berryman is the man behind the fantastic stories told in the books “2023,” “2025“, and “Divided We Fall.”

Carl Berryman served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army before retiring. Over the course of 22 years, he completed 13 deployments, including one in Vietnam.

Mr. Berryman practiced veterinary medicine in Montana after graduating from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in zoology and a doctor’s degree in veterinary medicine.

He earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota, with a focus on zoonotic and infectious illnesses, then went on to Texas A & M University for two years of graduate studies in veterinary pathology.

He was a staff officer in the Medical Research and Development Command at Fort Detrick in Maryland and a Diplomat in the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, where he was responsible for the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Weapons section in Korea.

He and his wife now reside in a small Wyoming town where they love hunting and fishing. Their two sons, one an aerospace engineer and Hawker Siddeley Harrier aviator and the other a U.S. Army Air Assault, Airborne, and Ranger-certified Colonel are both retired military officers.
