Jim Wonders, the author, was born in 1954 in the United States, graduated from Louisiana State University in 1976, and moved to Australia in 1986. He pretty much bought some hilly jungle, married an Australian woman, and raised three children until their divorce ten years later. In 1992, he was naturalized as an Australian citizen while maintaining his US citizenship. He leads a healthy, pleasant lifestyle and continues to participate in activities such as basketball and body surfing near his home in Noosa. His fascination with spiritual reality, as well as his affection for nature, began when he was a child.
He became a member of Eckankar in 1994, which he considers being his eternal spiritual path. He wanted to share some of his realizations and insights on many elements of life with the reader in his debut book, whose challenges, lessons, spontaneity, joys, pains, love, disappointments, and changes help him thrive as he strives to improve his state of being.
