“Time of Trial” by Robert Zelazo, an entrancing and informative story about medical insights and family relationships, is now available for purchase

Robert Zelazo’s “Time of Trial” has been published in collaboration with Author Reputation Press. The fantastic, informative narrative will keep the readers turning the pages as they learn about relationships and medical concerns.

Robert M. Zelazo, the author of “Time of Trial,” is an internist with over twenty-five years of experience practicing medicine in northern Vermont. He currently treats patients in an outpatient setting, as well as in nursing homes and hospitals. He is currently the medical director for the NO.T.C.H. organization (Northern Tier Center for Health) in that area, as well as the medical director for four federally designated health clinics.

In the town of Highgate, Vermont, he lives with his wife, Sandra, a chocolate lab, and four cats. He plays the bagpipes, hunts ducks in the fall, runs regularly, and enjoys playing duplicate bridge, just like the doctor in the story. His two daughters have grown up and left the nest. His wife wants readers to know that she not only doesn’t have Alzheimer’s, but she also constantly outperforms her husband in every word game imaginable.

“Time of Trial” is a novel that depicts one doctor’s effort to defend himself against an unjust malpractice action, exposing the destructive foundations of the medical malpractice industry. Using the protagonist as the narrator gives the story a more intimate feel.

Martin Wennar dies of cardiac arrest in a Vermont emergency hospital early one morning, despite the greatest efforts of the professionals to save him. No one is surprised when the seventy-year-old man dies after suffering from senile dementia and the regular falls that come with it.

Martin’s primary care physician, Jon Ziebaska, is taken aback when he learns that his wife, Kathy, is suing him for negligence. Jon analyzes the patient’s records, first satisfied that nothing even somewhat improper occurred during his patient’s treatment. But there are forces at work that he doesn’t understand.
