On June 21, 1965, Terence Eugene Young was born in Cameron, Texas. His sole living parent was his mother, Verna Knight. In addition, he had put in a lot of effort for many years in Cameron, Texas, before he started experiencing health issues like terrible feet, hypertension, high blood pressure, pre-diabetes, severe loss of left vision, and Multiple Sclerosis.
For him, the way seemed obvious and unavoidable. He made the decision to quit his job as a result and submitted a disability application, which was approved. He decided to publish his book in his own time in the hopes of making some money to help his impoverished mother, who is also disabled and has trouble moving around, especially now that his stepfather has passed away.
As Thanksgiving draws nearer, a turkey in the story “A Turkey Gone Wild” must confront his approaching demise. He feels that others are watching him a little too closely as if they are there for their own amusement. Without realizing the hidden risks, he immediately begins to cause trouble, ridiculing, fighting, and cursing at animals.
He seems to be waiting for his death. Then, exhausted, he falls asleep, and when he wakes up, he discovers that he has passed away. As a result of his actions on the farm, he passed away from a heart attack. He encounters the Devil, who wants to roast him on Thanksgiving and hurt him.
