“Wake Up, Listen Up, or Go Down” by Robert “Bob” Dobranski, MDiv, is highly praised by the US Review of Books because it is a “highly detailed treatise with obvious diligence and a genuine zeal”
Barbara Bamberger Scott from the US Review of Books commended Robert “Bob” Dobranski as the author of “Wake Up, Listen Up, or Go Down”, stating that “Dobranski combines his wide-ranging knowledge with intensive research into Christian scripture to create this exploration of biblical prophecies and their deeper meaning. He begins with a thorough examination of the Two Prophets of the Book of Revelation who, in the end times, will carry the message of Jesus, exhorting human beings to repent and sin no more.”
“Wake Up, Listen Up, or Go Down” is a narrative of end-of-the-world events from the perspective of the PreWrath Rapture. It starts with the Two Revelation Witnesses of Revelation 11, then the Apostasy (the falling away of professing Christians who will be at odds with the teachings of the Two Revelation Witnesses), then the Anti-Christ appears, and the Rapture of the Church occurs during his ministry. The Day of the Lord begins shortly after the Rapture of the Church, and the culmination of all of the preceding events will be the Second Coming of the Lord.
The two nameless spiritual seers are described by the author as a hybrid of Jesus and Moses and Elijah and John the Baptist. Their words will bring about Christ’s second coming, a revival of genuine faith, and a unified church free from worldly divisions. However, there will be turmoil first—the Apocalypse, the ascension of the Anti-Christ, and apostasy—before that grand end.
Dobranski thinks that many self-described preachers and church leaders lead their flocks misguided using “schemes of the Devil” and that “many Professing Christians lack commitment.” He claims that lukewarm faith serves no purpose. Apostasy must therefore end, and those who genuinely accept the visions and warnings of the two prophets will turn into New Testament Saints.
Here’s an excerpt from the US Review of Books that highlights:
“Dobranski, who has been a Christian educator and preacher in a nondenominational church for many years, has collected the material for this highly detailed treatise with obvious diligence and a genuine zeal to share what could be seen as a warning, and a promise, to all serious Christians. He takes an objective stance, letting the plethora of quotations from the Book of Revelation and other texts provide the proof that supports his thesis. He alerts the reader that God’s followers do not use secretive methods because God is available to all, “not hiding anything.” This strongly worded message will form a powerful basis for serious, studious Christians seeking further clarification about the end times and God’s intentions for His people.”
