Dr. John Thomas Wylie, author of “A Commentary on the Book of Revelation” is interviewed by Benji Cole of CBS Radio
Benji Cole of CBS radio interviews Dr. John Thomas Wylie, the author of “A Commentary on the Book of Revelation.” They discussed the contents and the message of the book that the author wanted to convey.
Dr. John Thomas Wylie is the author and the mastermind behind the outstanding commentary on the final book of the New Testament, Revelation. Before he became a writer, he did a lot of things including serving in the military as an air force sergeant and becoming a pastor of two churches after he served then began writing. His devotion to God is so unusual that he reads every book to learn about God and His plan for salvation.
“A Commentary on the Book of Revelation” discusses the conflict between good and evil, and Revelation—the final book of the New Testament—focuses on Christ’s triumph and that of His church. Since its original publication was in the Greek Original, it is the most significant of all apocalyptic works and is occasionally called the Apocalypse.
When Dr. Wylie thinks about the book of revelation, he knows that revelation presupposes that God is hidden from man’s view, and man can’t see God. About that, he stated why God was hidden, unveiling and disclosing Himself, as He is living above man’s life. His dedication to God made him comprehend and understand the words that are frequently misinterpreted and misrepresented. The words contained within the Book of Revelation were more than just words written down.
As he claims, the book contains a fantastic message that everybody may use to improve their daily lives. He encourages adults, children, and people in general to read his commentary because he feels that many Christians have been saved by Jesus Christ but lack a complete understanding of the final book of the New Testament. We may be able to learn from the mistakes done in the past, as he said there, and maybe do better in the present.
The encouragement of Revelation studies is the main goal of this publication to spread more knowledge and understanding.
