LaDell Beamon is a successful writer, producer, director, singer, and all-around multi-talented professional. The Heal the Hood Foundation of Memphis, a not-for-profit organization that employs the arts and media science to impact change in Memphis and the surrounding regions, was founded by LaDell, a South Memphis native, who used his creative imagination to not just keep out of life-threatening circumstances. Over 480,000 young people have been reached by him and his team due to his gifts. The compelling tales that constitute the Hood Fables Universe were created by him and illustrator Aaron AJ Liddell.
