Hollywood Movie Script Coverage for “Diary of a Baby Boomer” by John Albert Buchness has been released for the book’s qualification for a Hollywood movie adaptation

ARP’s Movie Script Coverage service aims to provide a written outline of the author’s book—a screenplay—that will be stored in a database that major studios can consult when seeking stories to adapt into films. Recently, a Hollywood-style script was written for John Albert Buchness’ book, “Diary of a Baby Boomer”.

The screenplay is the common ground on which producers, directors, actors, and production teams working on the movie will collaborate from start to finish and serves as a roadmap for them in terms of what will be seen on the big screen.

The memoir “Diary of a Baby Boomer” is based on the real-life experiences of a member of the generation that believes its time was superior to those of the previous and current generations. The elderly generation will be reminded of this narrative of what childhood and adulthood were like for them. It will also encourage the next generation to see the distinctions between themselves and the “baby boomers.”

The story depicts a regular child’s life from the 1940s till they reach adolescence in the 1960s. It opens with a depiction of John’s early years and the difficulties he encountered while growing up in several settings. It also discusses John’s struggles with becoming an adult and providing for a family. His family’s continual travel during his childhood made it challenging for him to form lasting friendships with children his age.

John Albert Buchness’ book does not only have its released movie script coverage but it was also praised by the US Review of Books.

The US Review of Books commended this book and highlighted that:

“One of the most impressive things about this memoir is the author’s ability to recall his past in such detail. His is an interesting past with the continuous relocating of his family due to his father’s job. Buchness has perfect recall when describing each new city and adventure of his youth. As public and private events touch his life, he relates his impressions of them with honesty. He also candidly details his problems with alcohol and drugs, his practice of yoga, his interest in diet, and his reactions to pivotal events such as the assassination of John F. Kennedy, which occurred during his senior year of high school. Those who came of age during the same period will likely find common ground in the author’s life. Meanwhile, those who didn’t will undoubtedly learn something about one of the most interesting eras of American history.”
