“A Revelation of Poetry” by Carol E. Carradine-Madison is now available for purchase

Author Reputation Press has published “A Revelation of Poetry” by Carol E. Carradine-Madison. This inspirational book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.

Carol Elaine Carradine was born on August 27. She was born in Wisner, Louisiana, and spent most of her childhood and secondary school years there. Carol attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe for a year after graduating from high school. She met and married her husband after a year of college and became a traveling military wife.

She and her family took a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the world, meeting new people and exploring new places. Many of the people she met ended up becoming long-term friends. Carol is the delighted mother of two lovely twin daughters and a dashing son. She also has six wonderful grandchildren and two lovely great-grandchildren. Carol and her husband chose to retire in New Orleans, Louisiana, where she had lived for seventeen years before moving to Chicago for nine.

Carol graduated with honors from Olive Harvey College with an associate degree in early childhood education. She worked as a Head Start teacher for Chicago Public Schools for nine years before returning to Louisiana. Carol discovered her ability to create poetry about twenty-five years ago. She joyfully wrote a poem for her preschool kids in Atlanta in honor of Black History Month.

Carol named this collection of poetry “The Revelation of Poetry” because she truly believes it is a revelation from God and worked on it for many years. This book has had its ups and downs, but the moment has come to share it with others. Carol enjoys writing poetry because it allows her to unwind and express herself. She’ll keep writing poems if God provides her with the words to do so.
