“Please let me go. I’m terribly sorry if I have offended you, but please find it within your heart to forgive me”, he pleaded: “I can’t understand why you would want a man who doesn’t want to be with you when I’m sure there must be so many out there who would no doubt enjoy the pleasure of your company”.

Author Reputation Press has published “Starchild” by Jim G. Styles. A majestic science fiction novel that is packed with romance and action in a fantasy world, this book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the ARP website.
Jim G. Styles was born and raised in Canada and currently resides in Hamilton, Ontario. As a fervent Christian, he writes only about things that do not contradict his spiritual beliefs, including the more ideal world he imagines.
“Starchild” by Jim G. Styles is more than just science fiction; it’s also an adventure romance novel set in the future with a strong element of mystery. And, with its compelling picture of a better society, StarChild may be viewed as a possible blueprint for a far better society than the one we know today, a hope for a brighter future called the “New Matriarchate”—the “Tammyite Matriarchate.” It is a time when “history” has been supplanted by “herstory,” which delves into both our past and our future and is shown in a more intelligent, realistic, nuanced, and sensitive manner than is typically seen in works of fiction about matriarchy.

Hi out there to anyone and everyone reading this. Please be kind as I’ve never really worked on a blog before this and its rather new to me. The closest I’ve ever gotten to this is posting comments on YouTube when not working on my artwork (more on that later) as well as my regular literary endeavors. Unlike on YouTube, however, I find myself here in the awkward position of promoting my work to an audience out there I can neither see or here except through this Blog. So I hope you will bear with me here as I say the following.
My problem here isn’t that I don’t believe in my work because I most definitely do. In fact I’ve often told people right from the very beginning that, if they want to know me… who I am… all they need to do is read StarChild. It is a universe that I not only believe in but take comfort, and even refuge in. So much so that I felt compelled to share it with others here in StarChild.
Which is why it is categorized here as not just Science fiction but instead as a “science-fiction romance adventure novel” encompassing every aspect of life. Funny thing is that I began writing it thinking that my favourite part, the easiest part, would be the mostly science fiction aspect only to find myself focusing more on the romantic, human aspect of the novel–the story of the wife and husband featured in StarChild (Jenniboni and Andrei Saphira) as well as their family. In the end it was the human aspect of StarChild I found the most satisfying to write.
And on that note I’ll sign off for at least the moment. I look forward to hearing from you (the reader) and will try my best to respond quickly. In fact I’m more interested in sharing StarChild with others than I am in making money off the book. One reason I plan to donate the majority of the proceeds from StarChild to charity.
