Listen to the interview and gain meaningful insight into the subject matter.

Rev. Dr. Henry Malone, the grandson of Rev. Henry A. Fisher, is happily married (55 years) to Dianne (Volk) Malone. They have four wonderful daughters and five grandchildren. He attended St. John’s Academy in Winfield, Kansas, in 1962, and St. John’s College in 1963 and 1964. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, and joined the United States Navy, retiring on October 1, 1984 (Lieutenant).

He is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) in 1990; Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, 1994 (Master’s Divinity); and April 30, 2004, Andrew Jackson University, Birmingham, Alabama (Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Counseling). He was ordained as LC-MS Pastor on June 12, 1994, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Palms, Michigan, and is presently the head pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Salt Lake City, Utah. He loves God’s Word and trusts it completely.

“The Sacred Writings of St. John the Apostle: The Biblical Scholarship Series on the New Testament Writing Modern Received Ecleptic Text Compared to the Early Papyri and Uncials Volume IV” is written for Pastors and serious Bible scholars to give them more time in the Greek text. The first question for the serious Bible scholar should be, “What is the text?” Only then are you ready to move on to “What does it mean?”

This book presents the “Received Texts” since their inception to present them as the eclectic text in use today. The changes over time are represented by color-coded Greek script. The textual critic’s effort to recover the original autographs is recorded at the top. Like an interlinear Bible, a level-one English translation is provided.

Below this, in parallel and vertical format, are the major Greek Uncials and Papyri published. These documents take us twenty to forty years of the original autographs. The mundane work has been done. Now a study of the text itself can occupy your time.
