Stephen Montagna was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a hardworking old-world Italian family seeking the “American Dream.” His family relocated to Carmel, New York after his father died at the age of 52. Mr. Montagna married, carrying on his family’s old-fashioned customs as well as the traditions of his new family. He currently resides in the Florida Keys, where he conducts interviews with the media, political figures, and government officials, as well as vigilantly analyzing prospective terrorist threats. He enjoys fishing, skin diving, traveling, and collecting antiques in his spare time.
“Wind’s Breath” is a book set in Japan in 1996, wherein a young CEO of a construction company discovers a relic that is said to be a cursed sword, a sword that is the vessel of an ancient assassin. Hiromoai, the bachelor, became the new owner of an ancient spirit that was said to live in the sword. Wind, the female samurai warrior in 1333, served her master with determination, skills, and discipline, fighting whatever his command was.
