A three-act summary of this excellent book has been published in preparation for its movie adaptation. Movie Treatment is one of the first steps in writing a screenplay, and it aims to provide a summary of your work’s screenplay idea and give you the Hollywood style of fame that only a few authors have experienced.

Stephen W. Peterson, M.D., the author, is a psychiatrist practicing in Washington, DC. He is married and has three (3) adult children and four (4) young grandchildren. As they came along, he became very interested in ways to improve the climate. He is working to raise awareness so that more people will join us in our quest to leave our grandchildren a beautiful, sustainable world.

Dr. Peterson is a member of the steering committee of the Climate Psychiatry Alliance and the American Psychiatric Association’s caucus on climate and mental health.

In “T28: How Charlie, His Great-Great-Grandfather, and Supermax Saved the World,” with the help of the time travel robot, Max, young Charlie travels back in time to meet his great-great-grandfather and save the world from the bad effects of fossil fuel.

“T28: How Charlie, His Great-Great Grandfather, and Supermax Saved the World” describes the problem of the ever more severe weather that is coming in our future.

A young boy, Charlie, in the year 2080, is troubled as he listens to his parents, who are worried as they research an approaching storm. They are scientists studying climate change. They have become alarmed as the storm is the worst ever.

Charlie’s parents have given him a supercomputer for the company, and Charlie and the supercomputer have become pals. As Charlie wonders aloud if anything can be done to mitigate the dangerous weather, his supercomputer pal, Supermax, suggests going back in time to when his great-great-grandfather, Potus, was President of the United States and in a position to change the climate for the world and improve the weather.

This illustrated story will interest (grammar) school-aged children as it describes the problem of extreme weather. The story explains the basic science explaining this climate change. It is also a science fiction tale with time travel and political intrigue. It is the story of a brave boy from the future who, with the help of his genius computer, travels back in time to change his great-great grandpa’s position on climate and, by doing so, saves humanity and leaves beautiful earth for us all.

Message from Dr. Peterson: “Thank you for buying this book. Each book purchased will provide for a tree to be planted in an area of need. Working with Forest Planet, Inc., we will help the environment and contribute to restoring nature’s balance.”
