Dr. Yu-Shiaw Chen has a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. For twenty years, she worked as a research scientist at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Brookhaven National Laboratories, Stony Brook University, and biotechnology companies. When she was working as a pharmaceutical consultant, she realized the importance of nutrition and its impact on people’s health and well-being. After her research and study, she began her career as a nutrition counselor and educator.
