Claudette King-Welcome was born in Jamaica, graduated from the Anita Priest School of Interior Design in Miami, Florida, and spent many years as a successful design consultant before she began to pursue writing.
She is a member of the laureate program offered by the International Society of Poets and earned the Editor’s Choice Award for Outstanding Achievement in Poetry. In addition to her book Love Made Well, she has authored How I Killed My Father, the sequel of Connections, and Paper Thoughts, a wonderful collection of poems.
She currently resides in Central Florida with her husband. She’s the mother of three children and the grandmother of five.
