The released website for Biman Roy’s masterpieces is now live

Navigating the Quartz Forest, Dinosaur Hour, Miss Manhattan, and Of Moon and Washing Machine by Biman Roy now have a live author’s website. This website can give readers biographical information about the author as well as information about how and where to buy the author’s books. 

Biman Roy is a psychiatrist by profession and works as a consultant at a New York hospital. He lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He has been writing poetry for the past three decades and has been widely published. His writing has been nominated for Best of the Net and Pushcart Prize awards. He is the author of one chapbook of prose poems, Of Moon and Washing Machine, and two other poetry chapbooks, Dinosaur Hour, and Navigating the Quartz Forest.

Navigating the Quartz Forest is enlivened by his teenage daughter’s enigmatic pieces written by hand. Biman Roy needed to make an assortment of poems that envisioned the universe of which he had just seen lining fragments. In this book, Roy’s unconventional poems become a shimmering accolade from a dad to his cherished little girl.

The book gives the impression that the writer is an archaeologist. He absolutely caused the readers to feel like they were not too far off from him at the archaeological site. He provided his works and photos of his little girl’s transcribed notes, and the readers assisted him with organizing them into attachments and getting over the last pieces of residue with a couple of rounds of line-by-line study and proofreading.

Miss Manhattan, a newly published book, captures the richness of diversity as well as the simultaneity of life in New York. The text is rich, tumbling, and layered but never chaotic, as the speaker’s (and reader’s) attention is drawn to people, cars, birds, flowers, and all aspects of city life. This one-of-a-kind collection ingeniously depicts the natural resonance of city life in a beautiful, cheerful, and occasionally chaotic manner, but always with a sense of life and creative energy rather than destruction or entropy. Even as they represent an external and collective experience, these poems exist in the individual body.
