CBS Radio’s Benji Cole interviews Sherri Bush, the author of “A Hero of Kindness”

Sherri Bush, the author of “A Hero of Kindness,” is interviewed by CBS Radio’s Benji Cole. The interview is about the discussion of the message of the book as well as the author’s purpose for writing this masterpiece.

How beautiful it is to be called a “hero.” But how does one become a hero? What does it mean to be a “hero”?

A world embraced by the loving and caring arms of kindness is a prayer that parents could lift up to Him. What is the face of kindness? When should we show kindness? And why is it essential to let kindness dwell in our hearts?

The author, Sherri Bush, grew up (mostly) in Florida. Her father was in the Air Force. The author went to the University of South Florida to get her degree in health and wellness. She also went into the military because it was something she always wanted to do. However, as life progressed, she was awarded a scholarship and earned a degree in Laboratory Science. Currently, she’s working as a medical lab technologist. She has three (3) children and is married to a lab tech. She also enjoys teaching children Bible study and sharing God’s Word with them.

“A Hero of Kindness” shares the story of a little girl, Sasha, who wants to be a great hero. She wants to be as fearless and confident as David, her favorite Bible character. Her journey to become a hero teaches her that it is not easy and teaches her the true meaning of being a hero.
