“Maggie, I Love You” is a story about a woman who is too desperate to turn from rags to riches, even if it affects her own family. This book also tells how power and dedication to work, as exemplified by Brent Stewart, the detective in charge, can easily solve any case.
Brent Stewart, once a military policeman in Saigon during the Vietnam War in 1975, is vice president for an insurance company in New York City. His dream was to become a private detective, but he couldn’t pursue it because of financial reasons. Fortunately for him, winning the million-dollar lottery and investing the money in the stock market are his keys to making his dream a reality.
He resigns from the insurance company and opens his own private investigation firm. One day, Alex, Brent’s co-policeman in Vietnam, seeks his help concerning the disappearance of his wife, Maggie. But Brent’s team must deal with a Mafia group based in Hong Kong in connection to Maggie’s disappearance and her father’s blunder against the gang.
This book reflects the flaws of man’s greed, violence, and materialism. It also reflects unity among Brent and his teammates in finding Maggie. Would Brent and his team be able to save Maggie and solve the case? Grab a copy of the book to find out. This book is a real page-turner that you don’t want to miss.
