“The Rebecca Pendragon Trilogy: Magic Is All Around Us” by Gary Green is a story about Rebecca, who overcomes the sadness of her mother’s death and then comes across the world of the magicals. She also discovered that Pan was responsible for her mother’s death and wanted her dead as well. This starts a fast paced adventure where magic is real and magical creatures hold the key, not only to Rebecca’s survival, but the survival of the whole human race.
After the death of her mother, Rebecca moves in with her grandmother, Naomi, on a farm. Naomi observed that Rebecca was still adjusting, and she told her about the magical world. Rebecca then meets Pip, a magical. Pip takes Rebecca for a walk on Naomi’s farm. Rebecca meets Marid, who tells her that her mother’s death wasn’t accidental. Pip reports the matter to Naomi, and they prepare for Marid’s return.
Rebecca and the other magicals go to the oracle. Rebecca asks questions about her destiny and how and if she can defeat Pan. The oracle’s answers don’t satisfy Rebecca. However, she learns that her destiny is to unite the human and magical worlds.
Upon arrival at the farm, Pip gathered the magicals and informed them that the trolls, Pan’s army, had begun to gather in the woods, preparing for battle. Rebecca goes to battle, and a troll attacks and almost kills her but for Merlin’s help.
Merlin confirms that Rebecca is a Pendragon and a queen, and they search for the Loch Ness Monster. Rebecca defeats Pan by showing compassion, and she is hailed as the queen of the magicals.
“The Rebecca Pendragon Trilogy: Magic Is All Around Us” demonstrates that people of various personalities and genetic backgrounds can come together. The readers will see the importance of respecting every individual and how even the smallest person in a community can contribute to its development and goal achievement.
This will remind people not to discriminate against people who are different from them and to respect one another. The story is entertaining and appropriate for all ages, including children.
