“Miss Manhattan” by Biman Roy is preparing to hit the big screen by releasing its Movie Treatment
A three-act summary of this excellent book has been published in preparation for its movie adaptation. Movie Treatment is one of the first steps in writing a screenplay, and it aims to provide a summary of your work’s screenplay idea and give you the Hollywood style of fame that only a few authors have experienced.
Biman Roy’s “Miss Manhattan” is a poetic look into the residents, culture, buildings, and general atmosphere of New York City, as seen from the perspective of a traveling observer. It captures the richness of diversity as well as the simultaneity of life in New York. The text is rich, tumbling, and layered but never chaotic, as the speaker’s (and reader’s) attention is drawn to people, cars, birds, flowers, and all aspects of city life.
The author of this masterpiece, Biman Roy, has several published works that have been nominated for the Best of the Net and the Pushcart Prize. He is a psychiatrist by profession and works as a consultant at a New York hospital. He lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey. “Miss Manhattan” presents Pete (M) who is the chief protagonist. He is an ardent middle-aged traveler, this time exploring New York. The story is told from his perspective, as he is fascinated by the city’s history, society, and geographical layout. He first wanders in confusion and inexperience but is soon introduced to different sides of New York—the good and the bad.
This work is commended by Jonah Meyer of the US Review of Books, who underscores that “like the painting of an accomplished Expressionist, the poet’s words, images, vignettes, and nuanced creative expression are employed in service to a literary celebration of the great northeastern American city.”
Biman Roy was interviewed by CBS Radio’s Benji Cole in the People of Distinction program. People of Distinction is one of the most wide-ranging radio shows in the United States, hosted by Benji Cole and Al Cole from CBS Radio. Benji Cole, the host of the program, is a world-class interviewer, video formulator, Los Angeles actor, and filmmaker. He’s shared the acting stage with superstar Tom Hanks.
Moreover, the author was also interviewed by Spotlight TV’s Logan Crawford. The host of the program is an actor and Emmy award-winning anchor, reporter, talk show host, and actor with recurring roles on such hit TV shows as Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, House of Cards, Person of Interest, and The First Purge. Some of Logan Crawford’s other appearances include ABC, FOX, CNN, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, Person of Interest, Manifest, The Irishman, The Big Short, Marry Me, Bull, The First Purge, and The Following.
Recently, a Hollywood Movie Script for this book was released. And now, its Hollywood Movie Treatment is available. These efforts are steps in the author’s preparation for the book’s qualification for a Hollywood movie adaptation.
