Jackie Walters is a 63-year-old mother and the wife of a farmer. They live on a 176-acre farm in the upstate of South Carolina. In the past, she was involved in the operations of the farm along with her husband, but now she enjoys gardening, crafting, and keeping up with her new hobby, “Wild West,” her first grandchild.
The story “Wild West Earns a Pony” starts one morning when 4-year-old Wild West dreams of having his very own pony. He then comes up with an idea of how he could get the pony of his dreams. He first needs to get permission from his family before he can make his dream a reality.
