The much-anticipated annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 was held on April 22–23, 2023. It was attended by nearly 500 authors and hundreds of exhibitors. The festival was launched to connect individuals who read books with those who write them. The range of book genres exhibited at the festival captivated readers of all ages. A. Alex Come’ has a rich military history of serving in the Armed Forces (Marine Corps, Navy, National Guard, and Army). He is a retired career firefighter and paramedic. He earned an associate degree at Rice College. He writes in all genres and loves to create.
While serving in the US Marine Corps, US Navy, National Guard, and Army Reserve, Alfred Alex Come’ met several people who became his inspiration for the characters of his trilogy. His experiences as a paramedic and a career firefighter served as the basis for some of the personalities and events in the book.
