Rodney L. Wagner is a native of Oklahoma. He was born in 1935 with hearing loss and a speech defect. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi while serving in the U.S. Navy and a Master of Divinity.
He pastored churches in Colorado before starting a graphic arts business and pursuing college to acquire a certificate in business data processing and a Master of Business Administration. He worked as a computer programmer and system analyst before becoming a teacher. He is now retired and lives with his wife in Olympia, Washington.
