Kathleen Mugnolo lives in the small town of Warrenton, Virginia, which is located at the base of the Shenandoah Mountains. Kathy was raised in a small Pennsylvania town within walking distance of farms and gardens. Her mother was busy in the kitchen, cooking and baking, while her father was caring for his big vegetable garden and orchard.
In “Family Fare: A Mugolo Family Cookbook,” Kathleen Mugnolo shares the recipes of the foods that Kathleen and her family love. Kathleen was influenced by two very special women in her life: her mother and her mother-in-law, who are both amazing cooks. Kathleen believes that sharing what she cooked with others made her realize that she was actually sharing more than just the food she cooked; it was also an intimate expression of love and friendship.
