The much-anticipated annual Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 was held on April 22–23, 2023. It was attended by nearly 500 authors and hundreds of exhibitors. The festival was launched to connect individuals who read books with those who write them. The range of book genres exhibited at the festival captivated readers of all ages. Author Reputation Press is committed to connecting readers and authors through books. ARP participated in the book gallery organized by LATFOB. In line with this, ARP exhibited some of its spectacular books to the festival audience. The wide selection of genres made the gallery more enticing.
J R Prince was a lonely young man. Because his parents moved around a lot, we never really got settled or made many good friends. He made long-lasting friendships, some of which ended in sadness and others that are still growing. Like most loners, he sought refuge elsewhere.
He turned to alcohol to escape his imaginary world and fictional friends, who never totally fulfilled him. After several years of a downward spiral, he saw the error of his ways and became sober. Writing became his consolation and his new voice, which he was unaware he had. He just migrated from the city to North Carolina’s Outer Banks, where he spends his leisure time writing.
“Musings…: Flights of Fancy and Romantic Interludes” consists of poems and writings that are thoughts, feelings, glimpses, and ideas of the journey of the author’s life. Some are written in the good places of his life, and others were written in the darkest, most desperate instances. Each poem found in this book is imbued with a piece of his heart and soul.
