A professional book trailer for “Sarcaun: The Journey” by Simone Voltaire is now available

A professional book trailer for Simone Voltaire’s “Sarcaun: The Journey” has been released. The piece is a fantasy sci-fi novel that tells the story of a woman who’s next in line to the throne of her planet. She is not a human, and neither are the people living on their planet, named Sarcaun.

“Sarcaun: The Journey” by Simone Voltaire was among the books displayed by Author Reputation Press during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books 2023 at the University of Southern California on April 22–23, 2023, and was recently nominated for the 2023 Eric Hoffer Book Award. The Eric Hoffer Book Award honors great writing and the independent spirit of small publishers in remembrance of the late American philosopher Eric Hoffer. Hoffer has risen to become one of the most distinguished international book prizes for small, academic, and independent publishers since it was founded.

The US Review of Books commended this work and highlighted that “the action-packed plot goes through many directions and locations throughout the story, but the author expertly weaves in parallels between Elly’s time on Earth and what happens to her back in Sarcaun, smoothly connecting all the disparate elements. Elly’s adventures are riveting and suitable for science fiction or fantasy fans from young adults onwards.”

First-time novelist Simone Voltaire has always enjoyed reading novels of all genres, but especially science fiction, fantasy, and mystery novels. Her inventiveness and enthralling imagination are reflected in her appreciation of the books that she has read and enjoyed throughout the years. She was encouraged to begin writing to use her creativity in sharing words with others. She likes to play tennis in her spare time and spend time with loved ones and close friends while biking. She dedicated her book to her father, who was her number one supporter and believed in the things she could do. After the successful launch of her first book, she is now working on Sarcaun’s second book.

“Sarcaun: The Journey” presents an advanced creature known as the Gens, who possessed psychic skills and fled Earth long ago to stop humanity (who dubbed them “genies”) from using their abilities. They traveled far into space, but every so often they would send a representative to observe life and culture on Earth. Elly, a headstrong princess from the Sarcaun solar system, is surprised when her mother chooses her to travel to Earth next. The Queen’s counsel is adamantly opposed to the Sarcaun nobility visiting Earth for the first time. The Queen, however, has her own explanation for sending her daughter to Earth.

Elly is having an experience on Earth she never dreamed of. She ends up being involved in her new foster sister’s difficulties, which include a risky gang initiation, in addition to learning about money and malls. When Elly unexpectedly returns to Sarcaun, she discovers that her voyage has let a dreadful dimension through. The entire solar system is in peril as an evil power wants to capture Elly and wipe out her entire world.
