Spotlight TV’s Logan Crawford interviews George R. Crisp, the author of the published book “My COVID Crucible: Living with a Pandemic.” They discuss the author’s personal experience of being sick with COVID and the hospitalization he subsequently experienced. He also shares his realizations during those frightening times. Moreover, he discusses in his book how the public health crisis shifted into a political debate, further dividing the country.
The host of the program, Logan Crawford, is an actor and Emmy award-winning anchor, reporter, talk show host, and actor with recurring roles on such hit TV shows as Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, House of Cards, Person of Interest, and The First Purge.
The author, George R. Crisp, is a retired pastor of the California-Pacific Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. He served in an appointive ministry for more than thirty years. Leading Bible studies, composing music, and singing with others are among his favorite activities.
In retirement, Rev. Crisp has remained active as a guest preacher and interim pastor. He is also a poet and singer-songwriter, with several albums of sacred and secular music.
The world was awash in the coronavirus pandemic, which started in March 2020 and is continuing today. This required people to make numerous adjustments, learn new ways of acting, gain a new vocabulary, and show ongoing patience.
