“When a woman does not feel well, she realizes it. Th e issue is, will she take the time needed to take care of herself? Th e women who suffer in silence are considered to be a real female in our society. Placing the needs of others above her own is her ongoing sacrifice in life. So, many times, women will suffer in silence. She will never let you know the woman within (Perz, J. & Ussher, J.M., Nov 2006).”

Author Reputation Press is excited to announce the release of “The Positive Effects of a Health Care Manager in Women’s Health” by Dr. Patrice D. Broderick. This is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, ARP website, and other leading online bookstores.
Dr. Patrice D. Broderick is a retired military service member and a disabled veteran. She was able to finish 22 years of active service and nine years of reserve duty as a fervent Christian before going on to the next chapter of her life.
She was a patient administrator before retiring from military duty, a position that allowed her to assist soldiers before and after their return from war. She communicated on a regular basis with doctors, nurse practitioners, and nurses involved in the patients’ care and was able to assist patients in expressing their issues, including emotional and physical health, resulting in a higher quality of life for her patients.
She has degrees that include an Associate in both Business and Medical Billing and Coding, a dual Bachelors in Business and Electronic Medical Records, a Masters in Healthcare Leadership and Management, and a Doctorate in Leadership and Management with a concentration in Healthcare Leadership.
After retiring, Broderick created D&D Hand Made Crafts out of her passion of crafts, which led to the creation of two new businesses, Darling Darlene’s Garments and Patrice’s Modern Quilts. She finds immense delight in completing a task and thinks it to be excellent therapy. Moving forward, she hopes to provide handicraft lessons to provide individuals with a healthy outlet to deal with life’s hardships.
Broderick is married with four adult children, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She loves her family and is happy to be an active, visible parent and grandparent.
“The Positive Effects of a Health Care Manager in Women’s Health” by Dr. Patrice D. Broderick highlights how society and economics play a role in women’s health problems, and how the new health care law can help to change how society and the medical community treat and regard women’s healthcare.
Women have long accepted the behavior of self-sacrifice and kept their problems to themselves without telling their friends and family. May this book be the voice of women who kept themselves silent about their health and wellness.
